PTA Plasma-Transfer-Arc
Powder welding fully automated for all purpose applications
INTERWELD IPP X AP (X is for the number of axis, AP stands for „All Purpose“) is a PTA (Plasma Transfer-Arc Welding) Equipment-system for the automated welding of parts of all kind.
The equipment consists usually of:
- PTA equipment consisting of power-supply, torch, powder feeder and gas control system
- Cooling device for the PTA torch and eventually peripheral equipment
- Chamber which carries the moving axis
- Tilting turn-table or an individual support device for the parts to be welded
- Electronic control system for the PTA equipment as well as for the manipulation including control panel and remote control
